Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision per the plan of care for residents in a LTAC-like long‑term care setting
- Implement and progress therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and range-of-motion activities
- Monitor patient response to treatment, document progress, and communicate findings to the supervising PT and nursing staff
- Assist with activity tolerance, mobility training, and ADLs to promote functional independence
- Maintain safety during patient handling, utilize proper body mechanics, and uphold infection control and equipment maintenance standards
- Contribute to interdisciplinary team rounds and care planning with timely documentation and clear communication

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant licensure/certification in New Mexico (NM)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Relevant PTA experience in LTAC or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Ability to work in a long‑term care environment; reliable to meet 36 hours per week and shift schedule
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
