As we grow, we value people ready to grow a career that makes an impact far beyond just our daily workplace.We are seeking EXPERIENCED technicians familiar or certified with agricultural equipment for our Rock Hill location.Day in the Life: Ag Equipment TechnicianPerforms basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established products as requested by the Service Manager and Service Writer.Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.Maintains condition of shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.Complete dis-assembly and inspection, as efficiently as possible, so parts may be ordered and machine work can be scheduled promptly.Maintain records and account for all time, parts, and supplies used in repairing and servicing both customer and dealership equipment.Need to Succeed:Experience as a mechanic diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, preferably heavy equipment, ag/turf equipment, compact construction, or related diesel equipment; experience with 2- and 4-cycle equipment will be considered for our locations with small engine shopsCoachability and willingness to learn through continued training, such as JDU certification, capstone course, Stihl certification (where applicable), Wirtgen training, etcRecent and regular computer use, specifically in running codes and submitting work order information is strongly preferredBasic tooling required for most shops and training in diesel technology or heavy equipment mechanics is preferredValid driver's license with ability to be insured on company policy and medical DOT card required for field techniciansAbout the BenefitsIn addition to a competitive hourly rate of pay (negotiable based on experience) as well as monthly technician incentive bonus eligibility, the successful candidate will receive:Extended health, dental, and vision insurance (day one of employment)Health savings account optionsFlexible spending account optionsDisability and life insurance401k with employer match and profit share (after 90 days of employment)Annual tools and PPE allowancePaid time off and paid holidaysEmployee recognition rewards programOpportunities to attend a yearly cruise for top performersOpportunities for leadership and professional growthQuarterly group outings, company events, and employee recognition programsUpon joining James River Equipment, you will be welcomed into a supportive, collaborative, and diverse team that takes pride in a job well done and is appreciated for the work they do.For more information about what it’s like to work at James River Equipment, please visit our website at #J-18808-Ljbffr
