INNIO employs over 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to moving energy forward. We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our remanufacturing engineering team. In this role, you will develop, validate, and document the tear down of large industrial gas engines and optimizing process flow with operators at our Oak Creek, WI facility. You will apply strong technical expertise to analyze data, resolve complex issues, and continuously improve process performance. Your work will help ensure we deliver high‑quality remanufactured products to our customers while maintaining a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment.What you’ll do:Process & Workflow Optimization:Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and establish best practices across production.Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; collaborating with equipment vendors; and gathering insights from operators.Machining & CAD/CAM Development: Use CAD/CAM software to create, optimize, and improve machining processes.Quality Assurance: Ensure product and process quality by developing testing methods, assessing finished‑product and process capabilities, establishing quality standards, and validating manufacturing processes.Operations Planning & Cost Analysis: Support manufacturing decision‑making by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future operational requirements.Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance data and trends.Equipment Reliability & Maintenance: Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer instructions and established procedures; and arranging specialty services as needed.Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and participating in professional societies.Vendor & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Interface effectively with vendors and internal partners to ensure clear communication of technical requirements and EHS expectations.What you’ll bring:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experienceProficiency in CAD software.Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.Understanding of GD&T tolerancing and function.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.What Will Help You Stand Out:Strong knowledge for assembly or disassembly of heavy industrial equipment.Strong collaborator who is a positive team player.Autonomous, results driven and accountable for own actions and takes ownership of decisions.Able to influence without authority by motivating, creating understanding and accountability to drive change at the quality level.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and coordinate several moderate projects simultaneouslyEffective problem solver and communicator with the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarityAdditional Details:Location: Oak Creek, WIWork Model: 5 days onsite per week (Monday thru Friday)Visa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the foreseeable future.INNIO offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
