Production Manager | Metal Manufacturing

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a team of approximately 45-50 employees across a diverse metal manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and knows how to get the best out of people, processes, and equipment. You'll play a key role in driving safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement while developing a strong, accountable production team.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, machining, welding, sheet metal, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, employee development, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success with continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and resource management.
• Ability to evaluate production output, labor utilization, machine capacity, workflow, and overall operational performance.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• A consistent focus on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
