Teacher The role of a teacher is to instruct children in the disciplines encompassed by the prescribed written curriculum, within the limits of each child's aptitude and ability, and guide them toward becoming responsible contributors in a democratic society. Secondary science certification required (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science) Note: If contacted, hard copies of the following must be presented at the time of the interview: Copy of PA certification Unofficial transcripts Praxis I scores Letters of reference Act 34 PA criminal background check Act 151 child abuse clearance FBI fingerprinting clearance Sun Valley High School
