Position: Staff Accountant I Shift: 5x8 08:00 – 17:00 Monday - Friday Start Date: 4/23/2024 Contract Length: 13 weeks + Important Notes: Local Candidates only. Facility Location is Flagstaff, Arizona Description: Staff Accountant 1 assists in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Accounting/Finance experience
• MS Excel skills
• Understanding and competence in using computers/ basic software programs

Preferred:

• Previous healthcare experience
• Experience working in an integrated care delivery system (IDS)
