Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse (MS/Tele RN) located in Illinois. This position involves providing specialized care to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients within a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The role requires proficiency in EKG rhythm identification, cardiac drips management, and electronic charting, supporting patients with non-acute cardiac conditions and complex medication infusions. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment; ability to work days shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly. Additional Responsibilities: Care of acutely ill adult and geriatric patients, including pre- and post-procedure evaluations and neurological assessments for stroke and TIA patients. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Preferred Qualifications: CPI certification is preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required within the service line.
