JASSM XR Senior Software Engineer / Embedded / C++

Software Engineer SrDesigns, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.As a Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. You will be helping us solve the world's most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense.Your responsibilities will include:Developing embedded software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher)Integrating algorithms into C/C++ applicationsPlanning, conducting, and coordinating software development activitiesDesigning, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.Applying knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.Correcting program errors, preparing operating instructions, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.Basic qualifications include:Active DoD SECRET Clearance with investigation in the last 5 yearsBS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related fieldPrevious HWIL experience working with real time embedded systems using both HW/SWProficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++)Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating EnvironmentExperience integrating hardware and softwareExperience in real-time software generation, with hands-on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or a simulation systemPay information:Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
