Food Quality Control Technician

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a motivated Quality Control Technician in Atlanta, GA. In this fast-paced, dynamic role, you will be responsible for conducting various lab and sensory tests while working closely with plant management, employees, and customers to ensure high-quality production standards. In a Quality Control Technician job youll be responsible for:

Conducting titratable salinity, titratable acidity, pH, viscosity, and other sensory tests

Performing rapid microbiological testing after training
-
Spending part of your day on the production floor to ensure products are correctly prepared and shipped

Collaborating with upper management and R&D teams
-
Interacting with customers and assisting with other tasks as assigned by management
What youll need:
-
Degree in a science field such as Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related discipline
-
Flexibility to work both in the lab and on the production floor
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
