About the Position

Job Title: CT Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience License: Client license required Certifications: BLS Certification, Injection Certification Must-Have: Recent, hands-on CT experience All required certifications must be active at the time of submission All compliance items must be fully completed by Tuesday at noon the week prior to the start date Description: This position requires a minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience. Local candidates are accepted but will be compensated at a lesser rate than traveling candidates. Candidates must possess a Client license. The facility will assist in obtaining the required Injection Certification upon arrival. BLS Certification is also a requirement. Candidates should have experience with various CT procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head imaging, with and without contrast. Experience with starting peripheral IVs and preparation/administration of contrast media is necessary. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using imaging equipment from various manufacturers, such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba. Compliance with all facility-required training and continuing education units (CEUs) is mandatory. Travelers must be proactive in completing compliance requirements promptly. Previous travelers are welcome to return as long as they are in good standing. First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on their qualifications.
