Description

American Traveler is hiring a Hospice RN in Tucson requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience along with recent home health/hospice background.

Details

• Hospice care setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-call responsibilities required
• Territory coverage up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Traveler must remain flexible with assigned territory

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health and/or hospice experience required
• OASIS experience required for clinicians performing start of care (SOC) visits
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Proof of vehicle insurance required

Additional Information

• Provide hospice nursing care to geriatric patients
• Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided for work use, no cell phone provided
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Compliance items must be started within 24 hours of accepting an offer
• Background check hits are not accepted
• Any requested time off must be submitted at time of application, with post-offer requests subject to on-site manager approval
