Hematology/Oncology Physician – Outpatient Clinic in Potsdam, NY

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Hours/Week: 40 hours (day shift)
• Employment Type: Contract / Temporary
• License/Certs: NY medical license in hand, Board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in specialty, adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment
• Pay Rate: $511.29/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
• Manage 18-20 patient visits daily, with occasional inpatient consults
• Utilize Epic/EHR system, with AI support for charting
• Collaborate with a small team including a Nurse Practitioner and support staff
• Adhere to clinic policies, including on-call and dress code requirements
• Document thoroughly and maintain compliance with all regulations

What You Need:

• NY medical license
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Current board eligibility or certification in Hematology and Oncology
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
• Experience with Epic EMR system and AI charting software preferred
