divh2Lead Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) - St. Francis Downside/h2pThe Team Leader serves as a clinical leader in the Nursing Department to ensure that each patient receives quality, individualized care that is proactive and coordinated among the care delivery team and that the patient is attaining their clinical milestones and patient flow./ppThe Team Leader is responsible for assisting with the oversight of daily operations of the Nursing Unit. The Team Leader is responsible for the development and coordination of activities that promote clinically effective and efficient patient care. Plans, organizes and directs patient care activities under the direction of the nurse manager. Collaborates with the nurse manager in maintaining unit operations, supervises assigned personnel and consults and collaborates with other health care team members to provide safe appropriate patient care./ppQualifications:/pulliCertification in area of specialty within 2 years/liliMaintain BLS, ACLS, and PALs as required based on unit competencies/liliAdditional requirements as required by unit/li/ulpEducation:/pulliCurrent RN license in the State of Ohio./liliBSN preferred, or must be obtained within 5 years./li/ulpExperience:/pulliMinimum of 2 years Professional Nursing experience./li/ulpKnowledge and Skills:/pulliAbility to analyze clinical, financial and social situations, identifying problems and alternative courses of action./liliWillingness to be flexible, resourceful, and creative in problem solving./liliAbility to act independently and offer suggestions and new ideas for improving performance and operations./liliAbility to guide and direct the health care team to assure optimal outcomes.
