Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and craft tailored treatment plans for patients dealing with mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure holistic and effective care for each individual.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, continuously monitoring patient progress to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide ongoing therapy and support, fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients.
• Lead community outreach initiatives, educating the public on mental health issues and breaking down barriers of stigma.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant patient records that reflect our commitment to quality care.
• Participate in team consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Advocate passionately for the needs of your patients, connecting them with vital resources and support.

Qualifications:

Board eligible or certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an active RN/PNP New York State license. An ideal candidate needs to be an NYS Medicaid provider.
