Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate:
Local Pay - $33/ Hourly
Travel Pay - $38/ Hourly

Position Overview:

We are seeking an LVN / LPN – Med Surg for an exciting Contract opportunity in Cortlandt Manor, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient setting while supporting patient assessments, phlebotomy, documentation, and coordination of care in accordance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient Med Surg setting.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor patient conditions, and report significant changes.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with specimen collection as required.
• Administer medications and treatments within the scope of LPN practice.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Assist with performance improvement initiatives and support quality patient care.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program required.
• Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and registration required.
• Experience in an outpatient clinical setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems required.
• Knowledge of infection control principles, performance improvement, and delegation principles required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
