Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday. No weekends, every other holiday. On-call required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.

Requirements

• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 3 years of inpatient/acute operating room experience
• Trauma experience
• Experienced in a circulating role
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assist with surgical procedures by circulating and monitoring patients.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage and maintain surgical instruments and supplies.
• Adhere to safety and quality control protocols at all times.
