Peloton Inc. seeks a motivated, experienced machine designer to join our team in Otsego, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Design custom machines, automation equipment, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks and Inventor
• Collaborate with other designers and engineers using Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks Vault, and Microsoft products
• Create, maintain, and approve Bills of Materials using Microsoft Excel
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers, suppliers, purchasing, machinists, fabricators, electricians, and toolroom personnel
• Participate in design reviews and communicate design requirements and parameters clearly to team members
• Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design and manufacturing issues as projects progress
• Provide timely updates on drawing completion, project status, and workload
• Support projects through fabrication, assembly, debug, and customer delivery

Qualifications:

• Experience designing custom machinery, automation equipment, fixtures, or tooling
• Ability to understand how a design will be manufactured and assembled
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal, written, and technical communication skills
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or an Associate degree in Mechanical Design or a related field
