Diesel MechanicDiagnose and repair diesel engines and vehiclesPerform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehiclesUse diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issuesCommunicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance neededKeep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performedMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and guidelinesHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a diesel mechanic training program or apprenticeship preferredASE certification in diesel engine repair (e.g., Medium-Heavy Truck Certification - T-Series) is desirableStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsProficiency in using diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and technical manualsExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocolsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in various weather conditionsWillingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
