We are looking for dedicated and skilled nurses who are willing to float between basic Med Surg units. Enjoy guaranteed hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment. \n Key Responsibilities: \n \n Provide routine and complex care to patients, demonstrating independence and awareness of relevant clinical aspects. \n Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. \n Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. \n Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. \n Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. \n Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. \n \n Job Requirements: \n \n Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. \n Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. \n Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: BLS certification via AHA required; RN License in state of employment or compact. \n \n Work Schedule: 7AM - 7PM, Full Time, with every other weekend required. There is no on-call requirement, and the nurse/patient ratio is 5:1 or 6:1. The facility uses Epic as its EMR system, and the dress code is ceil blue scrubs. \n Temp to perm opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
