CHX - OB - RN - Nights

CHX Munson is looking for a competent and experienced OB nurse for LDRP department. RN must have relevant experience in labor and delivery, triage, and emergent c-sections as well as postpartum care. RN must be able to care for low-risk, pregnant moms as well as stabilize preterm and high-risk patients for transfer. RN must be comfortable working independently in a level 1 nursery to care for well-born neonates 35 weeks and older. RN must be able to quickly stabilize sick newborns with the support of an interdisciplinary team (peds call, RN, supervisor, respiratory therapy) and prepare for transfer to higher level care. This is a critical access hospital. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, flexible nights. 1900 - 0730.Weekends: 2 weekend shifts every 2-week periodHolidays: NoOn-Call: Yes, 1 - 2 on call shifts every 4 weeksRequired Education: MI RN LicenseRequired Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate FHM (AWHONN, Inteleos), STABLEDress Code: OR scrubs provided and laundered
