Revenue and Pricing Analyst

Job Summary:
The Associate Revenue & Pricing Analyst will support the development, maintenance, and analysis of transmission revenue models and financial reporting related to transmission charges. This role involves assisting with regulatory filings, cost of service calculations, and forecasting to support financial planning and compliance within the energy sector. Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining Transmission Revenue Requirement models and templates.
- Support monthly setting and reporting of Transmission Adjustment Charge (NTAC) and Transmission Service Charge (TSC).
- Prepare analyses for FERC filings related to transmission investment cost recovery.
- Assist in cost of service and rate development for Generation and Supply business.
- Perform customer savings and cost comparison analyses.
- Update departmental procedures, document processes, and provide clear directions.
- Support filings such as the Proposed and Final Four-Year Budget and Financial Plan for the NYS Comptroller's Office.
- Contribute to the development and monthly updates of the four-year Operating Forecast by data collection, model updates, result analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with special assignments and ad-hoc requests from team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Working knowledge of economics, finance, and accounting concepts and theories.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial, marketing, and utility tariff data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Excel test required).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience preferred.
- Previous utility industry experience is a strong plus.
- Must be able to handle detailed financial and regulatory data with accuracy.
- May require adherence to strict regulatory deadlines and documentation standards.
- 12-month contract position based in White Plains, NY.
- Standard business hours with potential for additional hours during reporting periods.
