RN – Apheresis

Location: Bethesda, MD 20892
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Apheresis to provide specialized patient care and perform therapeutic apheresis procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in apheresis services, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and monitor therapeutic apheresis procedures.
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatment plans.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call coverage as required.

Requirements:

• Active RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of current hospital Apheresis experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Additional Information:

• Weekend and holiday on-call coverage required.
• Minimum one full weekend of on-call coverage per month.
