Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred; candidate must be comfortable performing 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions. Demonstrated ability to complete thorough evaluations, develop measurable goals, and document care in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants or other discipline-specific staff as needed. Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education requirements. Preferred: experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in electronic medical records.

Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Schedule: 5x8. Assignment Duration: 13 weeks. Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
