The company operates six locations across central and southern Connecticut and provides both emergency and nonemergency medical care to facilities and communities throughout the state. Your Impact: * Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely manner * Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly, efficiently, and promptly to administer necessary life support, either basic or acute to patients in accordance with State protocol while in a pre-hospital setting and during transport to the hospital * Operates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policy * Assures proper stocking, re-stocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment * Provides accurate and timely written and typed communication on patient disposition * High School Diploma or GED * Valid CT Driver's License * Valid State of Connecticut Paramedic License (experience preferred) * Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certification * Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support certifications With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
