Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting open 24/7
• Assess and treat patients presenting with serious or life-threatening conditions including stroke symptoms, cardiac events, severe injuries, seizures, and major trauma
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
• Monitor and document patient status using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental protocols throughout all patient interactions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Department experience (required)
• Active Michigan RN license (required)
• TNCC certification – ENPC is not accepted (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation systems
• Experience in an accredited stroke center or high-acuity emergency setting
