Job Title: Production Process Coach - Trim Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Process Coach for the Trim department who will oversee UAW employees in various plant areas. This role involves managing 50-90 employees, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and maintaining adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage 50-90 UAW employees in the department.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Hold employees accountable to follow company policies and procedures.
• Make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Be present 30-45 minutes before production starts and after it ends.

Essential Skills

• Previous supervision experience.
• Experience supervising in a union environment.
• Experience in an automotive environment, preferably OEM or tier 1 supplier.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Basic computer literacy, specifically with Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS Degree is beneficial.
• 3-5 years of supervision experience within an automotive facility.
• Recommendations from Ford Management employees are advantageous.
• Strong soft skills and resilience are essential.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic, requiring flexibility with hours and shifts, as some employees work 60-70 hours per week. Business casual attire is expected, with the flexibility of golf shirts. The position involves rotating swing shifts every 3 months between A, B, and C crews. A crew works Monday-Thursday from 6am-4:30pm, B crew from Tuesday-Friday 6pm-4:30am, and C crew works Friday/Saturday 6am-4:30pm and Sunday/Monday nights 6pm-4:30am.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
