The Material Handler-Forklift Driveris an essential part of our production operations team at the PAC manufacturing plant. In this position, you will utilize asit-down forkliftto move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.You will also be responsible for performing operational safety checks of the forklift before and after every shift. The right candidate will be able to nimbly maneuver a forklift in a fast-paced environment to stage material at critical locations throughout the warehouse and remove material at the end of the production line.You will work as part of a large warehouse team, communicating and collaborating with each other to ensure PAC’s products are manufactured efficiently and can be safely shipped to customers around the globe.We are looking for candidates who have:Commitment to safetyExceptional work ethicResilience and CommitmentReliability; be here where you are scheduled, and be here on-timeTeam player mentality with a positive attitudeThe capacity to adapt and work efficiently in fast pace environmentPride in their work and attention to detailWhat are the qualifications required?Must have a high school diploma or its equivalencyExperience working in manufacturing or distribution centerSit-down forklift experienceSafe forklift operation while observing all safety rules, utilizing horns and maintaining proper speedsAbility to complete daily forklift pre-inspection sheet before operating the equipmentSatisfactory completion of internal forklift training programDetail oriented with good organization and time management skillsAbility to work 8-hour shifts with mandatory overtime, including weekends and absenteeism coverage•Willing to train in other areas of the plant.Follows the direction of Supervisors; follows all procedures.Able to prioritize tasks and display a sense of urgency.Scan materials in D365 to properly maintain inventory levels.Stage all raw materials for orders at production equipment in a timely manner.Stretch wrap and stage completed pallets of product correctly.Remove all trash from the departments and place in proper container.Maintain a clean and organized raw material warehouse.Other related duties may be assigned as necessary. #ZR #IndeedPHX\nCompany DescriptionFor 50 years, PAC has developed packaging for businesses that need to protect products, improve fulfillment, reduce excess materials, and create a stronger delivery experience.
