Job Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacist to join their team on-site at a high-volume, closed-door mail-order pharmacy. This role is critical for maintaining accurate final verification on fulfillment lines as the operation expands and prepares for a major computer system transition. The Pharmacist will work alongside Pharmacy Technicians and other Pharmacists to ensure accurate prescription delivery to patients across the region without direct patient-facing interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Verification: Perform final accuracy checks on filled prescriptions (ambient and cold chain products) prepared by Pharmacy Technicians.
• Fulfillment Operations: Manage repetitive verification tasks while standing for extended periods on the fulfillment floor.
• Communication & Support: Occasionally handle inbound phone inquiries regarding orders or clinical details.
• Flexibility & Growth: Adapt to workload shifts during team computer software transitions and volume spikes; remain open to expanding duties.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky State Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Must reside within 30 miles of the facility.
• Ability to stand for long durations and perform physical, repetitive tasks in a warehouse fulfillment setting.

Experience

• Prior experience in high-volume, repetitive fulfillment environments preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. No weekends, no holidays.
• Hours Per Week: 40.0 hours.
