Job description: We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our family and our small mountain community. With the nearest emergency hospital over an hour away, our rural area has many needs and we are open to tailoring this position to your strengths. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is confident with Urgent Care type medicine, but GP is absolutely welcomed! Our main priorities are: Providing excellent client services and education Providing high quality medicine Fostering an environment of positivity, teamwork and collaboration Work, life and family balance for the whole team (NO afterhours! NO holidays! NO Sundays!) About our hospital: We are the only AAHA accredited hospital within a 90-mile radius. Full-service hospital equipped for wellness, sick pets and surgery. Dedicated, trained staff with a 2:1 tech to doctor ratio (3:1 if working solo) In house diagnostics We offer laser therapy, ultrasound, cautery, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. New digital radiology equipment for both dental and diagnostic. SPACE! We have a 5,000 square foot hospital with 4 exam rooms, a compassion room, two isolation rooms, full lab, double surgery suite and updated lobby (no boarding or grooming).
