Registered Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist - NICUThis position requires a licensed respiratory therapist with NICU experience. The therapist will work in a Level 3 NICU and may be required to assist in a Level 2 trauma center. The role involves direct patient care for neonates, infants, and pediatrics. Skills needed include the ability to perform intubation, manage mechanical ventilation, and administer respiratory therapies. The therapist should have experience with various respiratory equipment and protocols, including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-frequency ventilation. The position may involve working with interdisciplinary support teams. Weekend coverage is required on a rotational basis. Candidates must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously. All staff are expected to maintain high standards of care and patient safety.
