Northern Trust, a globally recognized, award-winning financial institution, is seeking a Talent Management Specialist for its Talent Management and Development Global Practices team. This senior role serves as a strategic extension of the Talent Management leadership agenda, accountable for the design, execution, and evolution of enterprise talent and succession planning and performance management practices.

The key responsibilities of the role include owning the end to end approach, delivery, and continuous evolution of enterprise talent and succession planning and performance management practices, serving as a trusted thought partner to Talent Management leadership, translating strategic direction into detailed, executable plans, providing day to day leadership, direction, and prioritization for team members and stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert on talent management practices, preparing, communicating, and facilitating through compelling written materials and decks, leading complex, cross functional stakeholder engagement, navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements, partnering closely with HR Technology and Workday teams, establishing success measures, monitoring outcomes, and applying insights to continuously improve program effectiveness, simplicity, and impact, and leading change and adoption efforts.

Skills/Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, I/O Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred, minimum 12 years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness, or human performance, strong consulting skillset, exceptional business writing and presentation skills, demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, proven stakeholder management skills, results oriented mindset, strong people leadership skills, experience partnering with HR technology platforms, and comfort balancing strategic thinking with hands on execution.

Working Model: Hybrid. The successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.

Salary Range: $114,700 - 194,900 USD. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
