Dermatologist – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Location: Billings, Montana, United States (multiple U.S. markets available; relocation and market selection physician-directed) About this position Independent practice opportunity supported by MedCBO. Physicians own and govern their practice while MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative support. No prior business ownership experience required. Overview Physicians may establish or transition an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. The physician retains full clinical authority and ownership; MedCBO manages revenue cycle, accounting, HR, technology, and other non‑clinical functions. MedCBO Services Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination Accounting and financial reporting HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Supply chain and vendor coordination Opportunity Description We work with physicians seeking to: Start a new private practice Transition from employment to ownership Convert an existing practice to a supported model Relocate and establish a practice in a new market Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing with physician participation as required Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
