Rural Emergency Medicine - Southeast Georgia

ERx Group has an opening for a family physician to practice emergency medicine. The hospital is a small independent critical access hospital. The position is ideally suited for a boarded FP/IM/ER physician with ER experience.
Job Details:
- Daily volume runs 23 patients per day.
- 12 and 24 -hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling
- EMR system is Meditech.
- Dictation is Dragon
- A+ Malpractice Insurance paid.
- Independent Contractor status (1099) status
- Potential sign-on for full-time physicians.
- Our providers work as independent contractors for added tax benefits and the ability to
Moon-light.
Alma and South Georgia Area Highlights
- Alma is Georgia’s Blueberry Capital hosting the Blueberry festival each June.

- Proximate to Atlantic and Gulf Beaches
- Many historical sights to visit.
- Availability of locally grown food

- Proximity to Atlanta is a three-hour drive and 90 minutes to Savanah.
Requirements
- EM experience required.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible FM, IM or EM
- Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications
