Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses while collaborating with physicians or autonomously, based on credentials
• Guiding patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and effective disease management techniques
• Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your practice scope
• Engaging in follow-up patient care and chronic disease management
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure complete, patient-centered care
• Meticulously documenting all interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Experience Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is a must

Necessary Certifications

• Current NP licensure in the state of North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or the equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
