Dental Hygienist

Location 103 Roman Ln, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047 Job Summary Wooded Acres Dental Care is hiring a Dental Hygienist for a two‑doctor practice located at 103 Roman Ln, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047. This position offers full‑time or part‑time schedules with bi‑weekly pay and optional daily pay, as well as daily and quarterly bonuses. The role requires a current dental hygienist license in IL and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Responsibilities Provide patient hygiene care and education. Perform dental screenings and document medical history. Maintain clinical autonomy within established protocols and practice guidelines. Participate in a hygiene mentor program and pursue continuous education to enhance clinical skills. Use digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay paid bi‑weekly, with the option for daily pay. Daily and quarterly bonuses are available. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience Open to new graduates or seasoned hygienists. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills. Clinical needs as required by office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties, including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times, and attending virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically.
