Laser Operator/Machine Operator Location: Chaska Shift: 1st, and 2nd ($5 dollar shift differential) Pay: [$24 - $33/hr] Overview We are hiring a machine operators to join our growing manufacturing team! In this role, you will set up and operate a laser/press brake while supporting production across the shop. If you have experience in fabrication, laser cutting, or machine operation and enjoy working with steel materials, this is a great opportunity to grow your career. What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate an Amada 9000 laser cutting machine Operate a CNC press brake Load and unload materials and finished parts Support production using forklifts and plasma machines Work with carbon steel and stainless steel materials Assist in building bulk storage tanks, industrial blenders, and mixers Read and follow blueprints to ensure accurate production Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area What We're Looking For Experience operating laser cutting equipment or similar machinery Previous machine operation experience in manufacturing or fabrication Ability to read and interpret blueprints Forklift experience preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and time management skills Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience working with carbon and stainless steel Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Work Environment Clean, organized manufacturing/shop environment Independent work setting with a variety of equipment and tools Fast-paced production environment with growth opportunities Job Type & Location This is a contract to hire position based out of Chaska, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
