As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Valid drivers license CLEET assistance is available Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel and visitors, and reporting suspicious activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
