Director, Senior Counsel - Securitizations

Job Description Provide comprehensive legal counsel on securitization transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Advise on compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the financial services industry. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business, risk, and compliance teams, to align legal strategies with business objectives. Oversee and manage external counsel to ensure timely and efficient legal support. Support the structuring, execution, and closing of complex financial transactions. Stay updated on changes in securitization laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to the organization. Mitigate legal risks by providing proactive and practical legal solutions. Ensure all legal documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with internal and external standards. The Successful Applicant A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in the United States. Strong expertise in securitizations, structured finance, and capital markets transactions. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents. In-depth knowledge of financial services industry regulations, including securities laws. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
