Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist float to join our team in Fayetteville NC .

Work Schedule: This is a Per Diem/Casual position and hours will be as needed on Friday Saturdays and Sunday based upon business needs not to exceed 19 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens paternity tests alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Have a Valid Drivers License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Be at least 21 years of age

As a Float Phlebotomist you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients team members and clinics/locations. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
