SMARTCARDIA INC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Customer Service Clerk to join our team in Des Plaines, IL. Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
• Coordinate with carriers and freight vendors to schedule pickups and track deliveries
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using internal systems
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
• Resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and customer complaints efficiently
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Proficiency with shipping software, ERP systems, or order management platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
