Epic Application Analyst

Salary: $92,000 - 118,000 per year Requirements:

• EpicCare Ambulatory certification
• Extensive background in Epic Ambulatory build, configuration, testing, and production support
• Experience partnering with clinical and business operations to capture current-state workflows and design future-state processes
• Ability to convert operational and technical needs into Epic system configuration
• Experience creating test scripts, validating new builds, and executing integrated testing
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Epic application, configuration, and system issues independently
• Experience maintaining Epic dictionaries, profiles, tables, and related configuration items
• Strong understanding of application dependencies and downstream effects across integrated systems
• Experience collaborating with end users, clinical operations, technical teams, and Epic personnel
• Ability to spot configuration gaps, escalate issues, and drive resolution during implementation work
• Preferred: experience supporting complex ambulatory and core clinical workflows
• Preferred: experience with oncology-related clinical workflows
• Preferred: experience supporting large-scale Epic implementations in a healthcare environment
• Preferred: experience with application build, workflow design, integrated testing, defect remediation, and operational readiness
• Preferred: knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and their effect on Epic configuration
• Preferred: experience supporting change management and workflow redesign
• Preferred: experience leading or supporting digital application implementation projects through activation

• Support the Ambulatory and Core Clinical workstreams during the final phases of application build, integrated testing, and operational readiness
• Work closely with clinical and business operations to document workflows, identify improvements, configure Epic to meet operational and technical needs, develop and run test scripts, perform integrated testing, and resolve complex application and configuration issues
• Maintain Epic dictionaries, profiles, tables, and other configuration elements while coordinating with Sutter Health teams and Epic personnel to ensure the build follows recommended standards
• Support issue remediation, application interdependencies, regulatory and technical updates, process improvements, and project activities needed to preserve implementation timelines and activation readiness
