Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Therapy/Dietary - Occupational Therapy to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, cardiac, and neurologic conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective discharge planning.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations, including cognitive and functional assessments.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and safety protocols.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately using Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Occupational Therapy License
• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• IRF-PAI Experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting
• Ability to float to multiple UCSF facilities as needed
