ROLE: Technical Writer
Location: Phoenix, Az Job Description The Analyst (Technical Writer) is responsible for producing, maintaining, and improving technical documentation that supports developers, users, and stakeholders. This role ensures clarity, consistency, and accuracy across customer-facing, internal, and architectural documentation, working closely with engineering leadership. Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 3-6 years of experience in technical writing, systems analysis, or a related role
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and cloud-native systems
• Ability to read and understand code, architecture diagrams, and ADRs
• Excellent written communication and editing skills
• Experience with documentation tooling (Markdown, GitHub, Confluence, etc.)
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and architecture teams Roles & Responsibilities o Create and maintain technical documentation including:
? Architecture overviews
? API and integration guides
? User and customer-facing documentation
Internal engineering and operational guides
o Translate complex technical concepts into clear, consumable content
o Partner with engineers to document designs, ADRs, and workflows
o Ensure documentation aligns with governance and compliance standards
o Review and edit documentation produced by engineering teams
o Maintain documentation repositories and versioning practices
