Construction Project Manager

Our client, a multi-generation design-build firm that has been a mainstay of the South Florida skyline for over 30 years, is at the center of it. Our client is adding a Project Manager who is ready to take real ownership of high-impact projects.

Job Description

• Manage project builds from pre-construction and permitting, project planning through to the final closeout.
• Oversee project financials by negotiating subcontracts, managing change orders, and tracking monthly cost projections.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, owners, architects, and engineers to ensure the design intent is met without compromising the budget.
• Navigate the specific permitting hurdles of municipalities like Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
• Manage the master schedule and provide administrative direction to on-site Superintendents, proactively investigating "red flag" situations and implementing corrective measures to keep the project on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, building codes and permit requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and schedules across multiple active projects
• High proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and/or similar.
• Deep understanding of the Florida Building Code.
