Duty Location: Pueblo, Colorado For living conditions Major Duties At the full performance level (GS-12) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Coordinates the storage, release, and conveyance of water through the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project (Fry-Ark) system through continuous and close coordination and interaction with internal and external customers. Assist in a variety of operations at Fry-Ark facilities and Eastern Colorado Area Office projects to meet obligations, environmental requirements, and regulatory requirements. Develop water supply forecasts Provide current information on policy, resource management, water regulations, and technical requirements to stakeholders. Work on complex or controversial water issues whose solutions require a proven understanding of hydrology, engineering, water resource and reservoir management, and other applicable disciplines. Education This position has a mandatory education requirement.
