Medical Assistant Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Type: Local Discipline: Allied Health Professional Speciality: Medical Assistant Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? Yes Contract Length: 12 weeks Shifts: Days Shift Details: M-F 815-1700 Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications/Licenses: Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program Preferred Education: Associate degree Required Certifications & Licensure: BLS Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant from a certifying body. Mandatory Experience: 12 Week contract Shift: M-F 815-1700 Required experience: MA experience—rooming, drawing up meds Required Skills & Experience: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR and scheduling systems). Strong verbal and social skills to facilitate working respectfully with patients, physicians, visitors, co-workers, and drug reps in person or by telephone. Ability and willingness to travel to other physician offices as requested or needed. Preferred Skills & Experience: 2 to 5 years of Medical Assistant or other relevant experience. Practice in different care settings (eg. Primary care, Speciality, EMT, etc.).
