Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated health care professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in need of psychiatric, emotional, and substance use treatments. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a pioneering team in a new behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians as an active member of the health care team.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment grounded in core principles.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to contribute to each patient's individual treatment plan, including developing, implementing, and documenting goals and interventions.

Qualifications

• Education: RN license in the State of Massachusetts required; BSN preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in adult, adolescent, and geriatric inpatient psychiatric care is required.
• Certifications: CPR certification and experience in restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.

Skills

• Strong critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and solve problems.
• Advanced knowledge of behavior health and substance abuse treatment modalities.
• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems and technology.
• Capable of crisis management, time management, coaching, and team building.
• Flexibility and creativity to manage stressful situations in an organized and professional manner.

Work Environment

This role involves floating between various units as needed and may require working every other weekend and holiday. Candidates must be adaptable and ready to support a collaborative, empowered, and non-judgmental team environment.
