Accounts Receivable Technician
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: Based on Experience (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time
Work Setting: In-Office
Billing accuracy takes more than entering numbers—it takes someone who notices discrepancies, keeps records organized, and follows through on the details.
TDL Staffing is seeking an Accounts Receivable Technician to support billing and accounting operations for a busy Anchorage office. This position involves processing customer invoices, reviewing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
You'll work with a variety of customer accounts, including government, commercial, and nonprofit billing. If you're comfortable working with numbers, enjoy organized financial processes, and take pride in accuracy, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts receivable transactions, customer billings, and invoices.
Review, code, and verify financial transactions, including invoices, checks, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate accounting records and support general ledger activities.
Reconcile accounts and bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare and assist with accounting statements and financial reports.
Respond to accounts receivable inquiries and follow up with customers and internal departments.
Perform accounting data entry and maintain organized financial documentation.
Assist with special projects and provide additional accounting support as needed.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma required.
Basic data entry and keyboarding skills.
Working knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and word processing applications.
Ability to review financial information accurately and maintain organized records.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to communicate professionally and work collaboratively with others.
Background screening is a part of the hiring process.
Support a drug free work environment.
Previous experience in general office, billing, or accounting support is helpful. Experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting software is a plus.
