Pay & Benefits

• Compensation: Base salary range from $190,000 to $230,000, determined during interview

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient pediatric care for a 30-bed hospital ward with approximately 16-18 patients daily
• Perform newborn nursery examinations and consultations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists and intensivists
• Work closely with a dedicated 16-bed PICU staffed by pediatric intensivists
• Participate in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and medical students
• Engage in academic activities via affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care aligned with hospital standards
• Contribute to community health in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California

What You Need Required:

• Valid medical license and certification in Pediatrics (Board Certified or Eligible)
• Experience with inpatient pediatric care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a hospital or trauma center setting
• Experience in teaching or academic environments
