The nurse collaborates with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to provide high-quality patient care according to regulatory standards and hospital policies. Job Details Certifications: Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association, and these must be attached to the submission packet. Licenses/Education: Must possess an Alabama RN or multi-state RN license; must be attached to the resume. Experience: Minimum of 4 years recent operating room registered nurse experience in a hospital setting, with specific experience in OR Circulator and Endoscopy. Facility Specialties: Endoscopy, Orthopedic, General; Preferred experience includes ENT and GYN. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm; Call required 7 days per month, including one weekend, with call hours from 3 pm to 6:30 am. Responsibilities: Include ensuring supplies and timeliness of cases, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing, assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel.
